There's this guy, I don't know if you've heard of him, but there's this guy from Seattle. Not that we should hold that against him, but he's got this idea of creating a heavily Hergé-inspired world full of satirically analogous yet totally original characters and putting them through a rigorous adventure involving pirate lore, dastardly criminals, and smokin' hot babes.
The webcomic Jonny Crossbones follows the twisting adventure of its namesake hero as he rolls through various type-casted settings including a mysterious island, a mysterious mansion, and a mysterious dinner party! Although artist Les McClaine has already completed three entire books worth of story, there still seems to be a lot of adventure left. Updates have slowed down recently due to other projects, but when this guy gets on a roll he really gets on a roll.
